Infinity Pool in Camojan
- Building year: 2025
- Works: Terrace renovation and new swimming pool
- Location: Cascada de Camojan, Marbella
In the exclusive hills of Cascada de Camoján, in Marbella, this project stands as an intervention that challenges a steeply sloping topography in order to integrate with the existing home. Conceived as a platform opening out onto the landscape, the new terrace is arranged around an infinity pool that appears to float, suspended above the residential development. The infinite edge removes any physical barrier, allowing the water plane and the sky to merge into a continuous visual horizon: a dynamic canvas that captures and reflects the vibrant light of the Costa del Sol throughout the day.
The design prioritises outdoor living and contemplation through a seamless transition between the interior and the landscape. A contemporary pergola and an outdoor kitchen extend the home’s living areas, creating strategically shaded zones that contrast with the sun-drenched spaces. This layout transforms the terrace not only into a place for leisure, but also into a privileged viewpoint that carefully frames the vegetation and uninterrupted views towards the sea and Marbella.
True to a philosophy that blends contemporary design with local roots, the project is defined by a rich interplay of textures and natural materials such as limestone and wood. The solid, pure architectural forms are counterbalanced by the warmth of natural timber, the nobility of stone flooring and the softness of white-rendered volumes. The result is a space that breathes serenity and calm, where water and light come together to celebrate life in the Mediterranean.
